British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program
To promote economic growth, provinces in Canada rely on having enough skilled and qualified people to meet labour market needs and support an ageing population. Provincial Nominee Programs are a way for high-demand foreign workers and experienced entrepreneurs to gain permanent residency. Each province in Canada has their own set of requirements and guidelines but the intent of the Provincial Nominee Program is the same across the provinces. The program provides the applicant with a permanent resident visa and it is intended for eligible skilled workers, international graduates and entrepreneurs who meet program-specific criteria such as a job or job offer, intent to reside, and the ability to become economically established in the province.
Provincial Nominee Programs are aligned with the federal Express Entry system. Candidates eligible to enter the Express Entry pool may either enter the pool first and then be nominated by a province or territory, or be nominated by a province or territory before completing an online Express Entry profile and entering the Express Entry pool. If the candidate does not qualify for the Express Entry pool, they will still be able to apply to immigrate to Canada through a PNP stream, as long as they are eligible for that particular PNP.
To find out if you are eligible for the PNP or any of the provinces, fill up the Assessment Form or contact us. We are experts in helping you navigate through the different options that this immigration program provides.
